Book From Tape Acting Studios is an equal opportunity employer that works with actors age 8-98.  We are seeking to build a community of artists who are both professionals in their field and who can also provide expertise in group classes, workshops, and one-on-one coaching & taping. WHO: Seeking trained working actors & acting instructors who are based in Central Florida.


  • Minimum BA required (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 2 years teaching experience.

  • Seeking actor/ teacher hyphanents who’ve got a passion for acting and/or a relevant discipline within the industry.

  • Instructors with weekday evening and/or weekend availability

  • Available for IN PERSON and/or VIRTUAL classes in Orlando or Atlanta.

  • Instructors who are confident leading Adult and High school aged curriculum


WHAT: Interested teachers, should be prepared to submit: 

  • Acting Resume

  • Teaching Resume or CV

  • And/Or Relevant Links to their Work


Teachers who are invited to interview may also be requested to submit additional materials, including (but not limited to) a sample lesson plan and a short self-taped professional bio.

WHEN: Qualified applicants are invited to submit an application at any time.

  • Potential collaborators will be contacted for interviews within 2 weeks.

  • Instructors will be offered to start work on an as-needed basis.

  • Instructors not offered a role now, will be kept on file for future positions as opportunities arise. 

  • Materials are always welcomed to be submitted and will being accepted on a rolling basis. .  


COMPENSATION: Instructors will work as part-time contracted artists with an hourly rate of $35/hour.  Instructors will work in Fall / Spring / Summer curriculum on mutually agreed slotted courses for no more than 10 hours per week. Substitute teaching artists receive an hourly rate of $25/hour.

  • Instructors will be encouraged and considered for further development as they grow within the company. (Coaching and Audition Taping, and Administrative and further Leadership roles ect).
