ACTING WORKSHOPS VIRTUAL
Training for the ever-evolving actor
We believe that an actor must continue to grow. The industry is constantly changing, our psyche is constantly evolving, and we are constantly learning. We strive to bring you those tools that add new perspective, insight, and value to your already-awesome-toolkit.
Our workshops are designed to provide high value at low cost.
VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS

In this 1 hour webinar, Jordan Woods-Robinson (The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, Blue Man Group) will teach you how to translate your vision into any audition setup. As an industry-leading self-tape expert, Jordan will teach you tools that will allow you to live fully in your body, activate your environment, and forget about the “perfect rectangle” of a self-tape setup.

Conspiracy Theories: Next Level Script Analysis
In this interactive 3-hour workshop, Jordan Woods-Robinson (The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, Blue Man Group) will introduce his process of using hidden clues in the text to build a large enough theory that it will absorb any further information. Using two scripts, we will hone our instincts to see what no one else sees, to go deeper and deeper, and to get the scene on our feet without ever “memorizing.” Open to all ages, however we cannot guarantee that there won’t be sensitive contact or strong language. We will wrap up with a Q&A at the end.
Date TBA
$60

The Body: Laban
(VIRTUAL AUDIT)
*Watch/Participate in your own space but without personal guidance.* In this interactive 4 hour workshop, Jordan Woods-Robinson (The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, Blue Man Group) will teach 3 Efforts and 8 Action Drives of Laban. The Laban technique is a profound kinesthetic and emotional tool to get inside different characters' energies, breath/voice, and processes. We will provide a physical warm-up, explore the 8 Action Drives, translate these theatrical tools for the on-camera actor, and actively apply them to character work on camera. Actors in this workshop will walk away with a new understanding of their body/mind connection and how to actively use this in an audition or character development. Open to ages 16+ and wrapped up with a Q&A.
Date TBA
$25

All ages welcome (1 parent included with each youth ticket) and will wrap up with a Q&A.

Psychology for Actors
In this lecture-based 2-hour workshop, Laura Holley (Dual Masters in Counseling and Executive Leadership & certified Master Resilience Trainer) and Jordan Woods-Robinson (The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, Blue Man Group) cover cognitive therapy tools, and translate them to action steps for the working actor. We will explore Dual Process Theory and how it prepares us for the duality of rehearsal and performance. Anchoring and Confirmation Bias as a way of being more free in our script analysis. Mental Agility and allowing room for collaboration. Balance, Trust, Thinking Traps, and much more. Open to all ages, and will wrap up with a Q&A at the end.
