Summer Programming

On-Camera Scene Study

Age: 18+ (or by request)

Class Size: Limited to 12 Max

Format: Weekly Group Zoom Meet + Assignments

Dates: Mondays for 6 weeks starting June 7th

Instructors: Jordan Woods-Robinson, Clare Lopez, and Wildlin Pierrevil

Over the course of these 6 weeks, actors work on 3 sets of scenes and receive both written and verbal feedback. Students will practice their cold prep on Film/ TV sides and then get the opportunity to re-tape with adjustments. Students will collect tips to help them navigate their process and technique, as well as technical approach to On-Camera auditioning.

Voiceover

Age: 18+

Format: Weekly Zoom + Pre-Recorded Videos + Assignments

Dates: Thursdays 1p-3p Eastern

Instructor: Adam Vernier

Actors will build their technical setups, learn how to edit submissions, and define what constitutes strong content in the voiceover world. Students will explore vocal warm ups and technique to assess their natural instruments, and implement inflection, diction, tone, breath support and explore characterization and environment. Students will explore techniques to approach each of the different voiceover genres and be reviewed. This class will analyze effective warm ups, copy analysis, preparation, and implementation to help actors formulate their best practices for approaching the work.
