READ. PLAY. CONNECT.
All are welcome THURSDAY AUGUST 24th at 6:00 PM at Book From Tape Orlando for our monthly Table Read!
This is a monthly group and the idea is really very simple: We get together, we sit around a table, and we read a script aloud. It's a fun way to become more acquainted with published contemporary plays and screenplays while networking with a group of other actors and storytellers . This is a free event, and we provide the digital scripts! This is an in-person, monthly event that will meet at our studio.
In honor of Back to School, this month we'll be reading:
LADY BIRD BY GRETA GERWIG
This is a free event, but donations will be collected to go towards our Book From Tape Scholarship Fund.

THURSDAY AUGUST, 24th AT 6:00 PM
By Greta Gerwig (2017)
American coming-of-age comedy-drama film written and directed by Greta Gerwig in her solo directorial debut. Set in Sacramento, California from fall 2002 to fall 2003, the film tells the story of a high school senior and her strained relationship with her mother.
Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson fights against but is exactly like her wildly loving, deeply opinionated and strong-willed mom, a nurse working tirelessly to keep her family afloat after Lady Bird's father loses his job. Amidst a rapidly shifting American economic landscape, "Lady Bird" is an affecting look at the relationships that shape us, the beliefs that define us, and the unmatched beauty of a place called home.
Lady Bird won two awards—Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.
This is a free event, but donations are accepted to go towards our Book From Tape Scholarship fund.
