How does this work?
You mean bulk coachings? You got it. Glad to help.
When you checkout with the links above, you will receive an individual coupon code and a link to book your session(s). Each time you book a session using the coupon code, 1 credit will be deducted from your account and, once you hit 0 credits, that coupon code will no longer be active. (Think of it like a punch card.)
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, that credit will automatically be applied back to your account to redeem at a later time.
Q&A
Does the coupon expire?
Your coupons will not expire and can be redeemed forever until they run out. If, however, the prices for the services change drastically, we may revisit this.
Can I book the sessions back to back?
The coupons are yours to redeem however you'd like. Put two back-to-back for a coaching super session, meet every day for a week, set up a weekly time, or hold onto them until needed. We'll help wherever needed!
What if I don't use all my time in a session?
We don't offer partial hours for coachings. Some weeks we may end a few minutes early; others a few minutes late. We don't offer refunds or partial rescheduling for unfinished hours so we'll make sure to get as much out of each session as possible!
Can I choose my coach(es)?
Have a specific request? We'll always do our darndest to match you with the coach who will offer you the most value where you need it.
What can I work on?
That is entirely up to you. We'll meet you where you need to be met. Audition Coaching, Script Analysis, Self-Tape Setup, Character Development, Project Research, Casting Profiles, Resume, Reel, Industry Insights, Headshot Looks, or anything else!
AGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Due to the necessary skills of reading, focus, and the complexity of audition taping and mature content, we at Book From Tape will only do on-going private coaching with actors age 8 and older. Our primary goal is for younger actors to work in a group setting in classes and theatre before jumping into the private coaching setting. We are able to make exceptions, of course, for actors who submit a self-taped audition or demo reel.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to the nature of an actor’s work, our cancellation policy for 1-on-1 Private Classes is flexible. First and foremost, we request open communication. Appointments canceled more than 24 hours from your appointment will be rescheduled to the best of our ability (no more than 2 times per 6-week session). Appointments canceled within 24 hours of your appointment will forfeit rescheduling. Any “no shows” with no communication may be subject to an additional fee.
(There are exceptions to all of this so, again, please keep communication open.)
